Duncan Glen
Duncan Glen, who writes in this issue of Scottish Affairs, died on 20 September 2008. As founder of Akros in 1965, Professor Glen was one of the pioneering editors who helped established the flowering of Scottish magazine culture in the last several decades. Scottish Affairs, and many others, have benefited greatly from the public debates which he and others helped to stimulate.
