“...simply the
best discussion forum Scotland has!”
|
Introduction
Founded in 1992, Scottish Affairs has become the leading forum
for debate on Scottish current affairs. It has a rapidly growing worldwide
circulation. At this important time in Scotland's history, Scottish Affairs
is attracting even more interest.
Setting up the Scottish Parliament has brought the need for a new
analysis of Scottish Politics, policy and society. Scottish Affairs
is ideally placed to carry this out. Much of the new agenda or politics
has been prefigured by contributors to the journal.

Articles
in Scottish Affairs have considered...
-
the political context of businesses in Scotland
-
how Scotland has voted, and why
-
the possible impact of the Scottish Parliament
-
the relationship between the Scottish Parliament and local government,
and among the Scottish Parliament, Westminster and the European Union
-
the changing nature of the welfare state in Scotland
-
how Scotland compares with other small nations in Europe and with
North America
